Daystar Launches Time Tek Customer Service Scheduling System
Web-based system lets service teams access the information they need to
provide better service and become more profitable
PORTSMOUTH, NH April 1, 2002 Daystar Computer Services, a partner-based technology systems company and customized database developer, today announced the release of the Time Tek scheduling system for service companies.
Time Tek is a web-based software tool that lets service teams efficiently manage work schedules and quickly respond to customer requests for service from any location that has Internet access.

Technology Platform
Time Tek resides on state-of-the-art, fault-tolerant servers running on the Microsoft platform. The servers are housed in a secure collocation facility with security protection, fire protection, redundant T3 connections from multiple vendors, and electrical redundancy protection. In addition Time Tek combines 128-bit login authentication with password restrictions for server access to ensure the privacy of company work schedules and the security of customer information.
Daystar is committed to providing quarterly updates that will add at least two significant new features to Time Teks functionality. All Time Tek users have the opportunity to provide feedback on desired features and influence the actual development of the system, directly from their customized scheduler.
Pricing and Availability
Time Tek is available immediately to companies that have dedicated Internet access. The monthly pricing structure for Time Tek is based on the number of technicians for which a company schedules service calls. There are no additional connection charges or support fees.
